Gümüşdoğa is one of Türkiye's leading aquaculture producers, operating an extensive production network in trout and seabream-seabass farming. The Keban facility is a key production site focused on high-capacity, sustainable trout farming.

Challenge

In high-density trout farming, water quality is the direct determinant of production efficiency. The facility needed to reduce microbiological load in the water while simultaneously increasing dissolved oxygen levels — they were looking for an integrated solution capable of meeting both needs through a single system, without compromise.

Solution

OCS Ozone installed Türkiye's first fully integrated oxygen and ozone system at the Keban facility. A 50 Nm³/hour oxygen generator and a 400 gram/hour ozone system were designed to operate simultaneously on a single shared infrastructure. The system delivers both microbiological control and increased dissolved oxygen to the water, addressing both needs at once.

Result

The Gümüşdoğa Keban facility reduced microbiological risk in the water, strengthening fish health, while increased dissolved oxygen levels enabled high-density farming capacity. This project stands as a reference point in the aquaculture sector as Türkiye's first and only fully integrated oxygen + ozone system.
