Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) is Türkiye's leading institution in the aviation, space, and defence industry, a sector locomotive with a vision of national engineering and domestic production.

Challenge

During the commissioning of the membrane filter press system (BSA_MFP_29.2.2) designed and manufactured by BSA Water Technologies at the TUSAŞ facility, the post-press sludge-free water needed to be disinfected in a safe and sustainable manner. Expert technical consultancy was required to manage this water in accordance with process standards.

Solution

OCS Ozone provided technical consultancy services on filter press outlet water disinfection procedures. OCS Ozone engineering expertise was drawn upon in the stages of managing the microbiological quality of post-press sludge-free water and determining the appropriate disinfection method.

Result

TUSAŞ gained the capacity to safely manage filter press process water in line with its zero-waste vision and sustainable environmental technology targets. We are very proud to see domestic engineering and environmental technology come together in this prestigious project.
